In Home Senior Companions | Elderly Companion Care
Finding a reliable and compassionate caregiver does not have to be challanging. Hourly caregiving is an option instead of assisted living placement with companion care at home. At Accountable Home Care, we understand the ability to maintain independence at home is priceless. The decision to hire a caregiver for a family member can be challanging. As a licensed nurse registry in Florida, the caregivers we refer to family have level 2 background checks completed, professional liability insurance and have meet the standards in health and current certifications. Hiring a companion for an aging parent allows socialization, transportation and freedom to continue an active life – touching people’s personal lives and overall healthy lifestyle.
Assistance from Compassionate Caregivers
Before hiring a Homemaker or Companion, it is important to know that individuals referred by Accountable Home Care cannot perform any hands-on personal care health care services such as a Home Health Aide (HHA). Homemakers and companions cannot assist patients with self-administration of medication. They can only verbally remind the client to take their medication.

Understanding the Meaning of Custodial Care in a Home Setting
When using a long term care policy, custodial care means non-skilled long term care services. Assistance with daily living such as transfer assistance, bathing and feeding are just a few example of non medical custodial care.
Am I able to get a caregiver just to help me bath?
Yes, we have a number of licensed caregivers able to provide clients with a one hour bath visit. Whether a client is in need of a bath for soaking or a shower, families and client's alike can feel good knowing personal hygiene has been attended to.
