Hourly Caregivers Available
Hourly senior home care offers flexibility and by far is more cost effective solution to aging in place. Hourly care can be provided at a resident’s home, while at a hospital, nursing home setting, residential care home or assisted living facility. Hourly caregivers can supplement services offered at assisted living communities giving added security and attention to a resident that may be experiencing a health care setback.
Benefits to Hourly Care
- No Long Term Committment Required
- Easiest Type of Senior Care to Start Allowing Time to “Ease” into Acceptance of Care
- Home Health Aides Adapt to Patient’s Lifestyle
Hourly Private Care is the easiest type of care with no long term commitment to start. Hourly care allows families to try home care as a solution to aging in place versus senior living placement that requires a full lifestyle change, monthly deposit and financial commitment. Hourly care allows caregivers to adapt to client’s lifestyle, NOT requiring the client to change their lifestyle or environment.
First, it is the easiest type of care to start and usually the best option if you have a loved one that is resistant to receiving help. Some seniors, often elderly parents, may initially object to accepting home care, because they view it as limiting their independence. However, hourly home care often allows seniors time to “ease into” accepting help and provides them with the opportunity to recognize that home care can actually help them maintain their independence at home.

A licensed Home Health Aide(HHA) or Cerified Nursing Assistant (CNA) may help provide comfort for the critically ill. A caregiver in the evening may allow family members time to catch up on much needed sleep and provides peace of mind. Generally the caregiver is needed for those who need assistance transferring to the restroom at night or needs a gentle reminder to take evening medication.
